Today has been a good day indeed!
We received a check we were waiting on for a while now and that will help us so much. It is supposed to half clear tomorrow and then the other half will be cleared in like a week. Which is fine. Now we can get the things done that we were needing to and of course pay bills and buy food and stuff for the house. All those good things.
Oh, the RDC challenge is going great! I got another 2k done today and that leaves me a little over 7k! Like I'm already really close to my first goal of 10k!!!! Luckily with this money I can buy my rewards for the rest of the challenge! I was thinking two Tokidoki blind boxes and maybe a notebook or yarn or some other art supply that I want to play with and have to wait. I can't believe I already have 7k words! That is CRAZY!
I literally am only three days in and already much farther in than I thought I would be. Like I hoped I would get a bunch done in the beginning of the month, but I wasn't sure that would happen. I did set my goal for the month at 30k but I really think that the book will be a bit longer than that. Maybe I should change it to 40 or 50k?? I don't know, I don't want to like keep moving the goal post but I want the book to actually be the length that it deserves to be. I also want to make sure that I have enough of the rewards for me if I do extend the word goal. Maybe I'll buy five rewards just in case and then I'll just give myself one at every 10k words.
Okay now I just have to figure out exactly what I want those rewards to be. It's always exciting when we can buy stuff, new shiny fun things lol. We are also buying some furniture for the new house and that makes me so excited too.
I was able to do part of setting up the etsy shop today. As soon as they finish verifying my ID then I can start putting stuff up for sale. Digital products only so I don't get fucked up with shipping, and can have a bigger selection of products. Maybe I can actually post a handful of products which means I should make more.
Oh boy that means that I need to do some planning which is great because I am done writing for the night. I love planning stuff out lmao. Oh maybe I can do some of those workbook ones that I wanted to do, I can't remember how much it cost to post a single post so that kind of determines how many I can do. I think yeah, I will do a project planner, weekly to do list that is customizable, maybe a weekly meal planner, and a invitation template for some autumn or winter themed ones?
I'll do some brain storming about it for the rest of the night. That should be easy to do even though I've had a few drinks lol. I never drink but this week I've drank twice, including tonight. It's not much, I don't even drink enough to get drunk. I was hoping it would help me sleep but it doesn't so oh well. Just use it to relax I guess. And only once in a while because like I said, I'm not a drinker.
I am really excited for tomorrow. I should really try to bust out the words as soon as I can because Phil is going to buy me the new harvest moon game tomorrow and he said I could have the first round of playing on the xbox. Because we are buying a handful of new games tomorrow but that one is specifically for me. Yay, yay, yay.
