I've been craving creating something with my hands recently. I thought that would be my gothic mini skirt but I'm having some creative block with that because I'm worried that I'm gonna fuck it up and not have enough material to make another one or something, ya know?
So, I grabbed what I have, my yarn, and I started crocheting something that I need. Another blanket! But I am trying a new design this time where I made a granny square in the middle and I'm making it bigger and bigger from there. The only problem is it's not sitting flat. I'm hoping that once it gets bigger it won't matter. Part of me wants to undo it and try a different technique for that part but another part of me is like meh it's fine. It's only a little curly at the corners of some inner layers, it's not that bad really.
That has consumed most of my day lol. I really enjoy crocheting like a lot, I wish I could think of more things to make because it is super fun.
I wanted to do other things, like write and edit, and make some more trackers and planners, but I didn't do any of it. Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow. For now, I'm going to enjoy crocheting and then a little reading before I go to bed. That has been a really fun nightly routine.
