Today has been a pretty good day. I didn't sleep terribly well but at least it was a good day.
I've gotten some writing done in my newest book, or possible newest series, In Between Our Stars. My sci-fi slow burn romance story that I'm going to post on Substack first. It's coming together pretty great for my first run through of chapter one but the words aren't flowing very well yet. I mean, it's probably because of all the other stressful stuff happening in my life right now. I mean selling, buying, and moving houses is VERY stressful.
And the house we're looking at needs a little work, and we're going to paint some of the walls too. I got to pick out the colors and the some flooring today and that was really fun. I got to pick out some more furniture that I need for the new house too. I can't wait to get into the new place. I'm already decorating and setting it up in my mind lol. I just know that this is the place that we are supposed to live in.
I've finally started my crocheted blanket again. I stopped because I wasn't super happy with how it was going. Then I realized I had a shrug that was in the same colors and I wasn't using that one anymore because I have a new sweater that has been my comfort lately. So I ripped it apart, which was harder than I expected. It left me with a large pile of yarn though and now I can add a bunch more to my blanket. Yay! After I use up that yarn, I'll finish using the other yarn I have, the thinner one. Then the blanket should be pretty large! I wanted to do some more writing and art and stuff today but I'm tired and so I think I'll just put that off until tomorrow.
