I did a lot of work at the house today with the help of my mom, sister, and son. We cleaned out a LOT of stuff, measured stuff, checked things that might need to be fixed or changed, and just accomplished a lot.
We have to have the house fumigated with a tent because of how bad it is, but I would rather know that now then when we are living in there. We have to get a new fridge and oven, but it will be nice to have new appliances. The dumbasses planted a tree right up against the house and it broke the back porch so that has to be taken down and both porches have to be replaced. They are literally rotting and I'm not even sure how much longer they will stay standing. I love the bones of the house though. I just know that we will be able to make this house a really wonderful place to live.
Tomorrow I'm going to finish clearing out the kitchen and setting up the junk removal which hopefully can be done in the next day or two. Keep going little by little here and it will keep getting better and better. Once we took all the shit out of there, it's a lot nicer than I originally thought. I just want to do a handful of projects and fixes that are really needed and then it will be an amazing house.
