Today has been a great day.
We were able to get a new car today which we have been trying to get done for a few days now. And I love it! It's a red Mazda and it is so nice! I did some of the work I wanted to do today but once Phil came home with the new car, he asked me to go on a date with him. We went to a toy store and I got Marie, Tulouse, and Berlious from the Aristocats and a new Switch game, and some blind boxes. Also grabbed my sister another birthday present. Speaking of birthday presents for my sister, I finished her family portrait! It came out almost perfectly and I really love how it looks. I can't wait to give it her tomorrow.
Oh, we also went to an authentic Mexican restaurant for dinner as part of our date and it was DELICIOUS. Like holy shit so good. I accidentally got like the biggest burrito on the menu lmao so I brought my kiddo home like 3/4 of it and he devoured the whole thing and told me it was the best burrito he's ever had.
I got a bit of work done in my house today too. I cleaned a bit of the kitchen including the entire pantry. I wanted to get more done but by the time we were done with our date, I had to focus completely on getting her gift finished for tomorrow. I can't wait to hang out tomorrow with my sister and enjoy celebrating her birthday. I know she's going to love all the stuff we got and I made for her.
