I am so tired but my gallery opened today and it was such a great showing!
The whole collection was beautiful and my piece didn't stand out as like as a shitty piece. It actually felt like it belonged amongst the group and a lot of people complimented it. One guy said it looked like album art which I love. Of course the family all loved it, even Jay said it was in the top three of the group, and he's picky about art. And then he took us out for ice cream which was great. So overall a great time.
I think I worked through the problem that I was having with this chapter. I just needed to secure the back story and motivations for one of the characters but I think I got it now.
We also got some groceries today which was great because we had no butter for like a week and that is just torture.
I'm super tired, I should try to go to bed on the early side tonight. No more staying up till morning. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep and not have weird ass nightmares that make it feel like I haven't slept at all.
I think that's what I'll do, try to go to bed after we finish the movie we're watching.
