I did something fun today, I went to a bigfoot convention with my sister, mom and her boyfriend.
It was so cool! There were all these people from the documentaries, tv shows, and people I knew from those groups were speakers there. And there was a bunch of foot casts and people selling their art and wares, though some people were selling AI slop which was annoying. Though I walked around loudly telling my sister "That's AI, that's AI, that's AI, oh ALL of this is AI." I got quite a few glares from vendors but I know what is AI slop and not and it was VERY obvious.
Jay bought us the tickets and got me and my sister these adorable little bigfoot plushies which I love. Then when we were walking around looking at all of the stuff, this guy dressed as bigfoot chased me down and forced me to take a picture with him. I'm smiling in the picture but you can see that I'm pulling away from him lol. I'm not really sure why he did that because I watched him and he wasn't doing that to anyone else. He didn't do that with my sister who was also there in that moment saying no to a picture, but he literally ran over and grabbed me, after beckoning me over. What a moment that was lol.
They had a ton foot casts there which was SO cool! There was hobble foot casts, juvenile casts, even a knuckle print from where one slipped in the mud. The only known cast of its kind! Oh and there was footage that had never been shown before, and pictures that had never been seen before, and it was all so freaking cool. I'll remember this day for a long time.
Tonight I'm planning on writing a little, maybe doing a little art, or crocheting, keep it real low key and calm. I need that for tonight. Just a little rest and recreational creativity to take the edge off.
