Today has been restful and productive at the same time. I was able to sleep in which I really needed because I have not been sleeping well lately. The insomnia has been acting up like crazy and even when I was sleeping, I wasn't able to stay asleep for a long period of time. Even last night I was waking up every hour or so and having to fall asleep again. My little girl Evie has been cuddling with me every night lately, curling up in the crook of my arm and tucking her little head down. It's so cute I can't stand it lol.
Speaking of cute, the picture above is my baby girl with a little origami hat that my bubby made. He has become obsessed with origami recently and it has been SO COOL! And isn't Evie just the cutest thing in the whole world? Gods I love her so much and even though she almost pushes me off the bed, she also really helps me feel calm when I sleep. I have hyper realistic dreams and more nightmares than not and it really helps to have a little hairball cuddled up with me to make me not feel so panicked when I wake up.
I finished most of the paperwork stuff that I've been needing to finish today, which is great because obviously it is the last day of November. The last thing I need to finish is the month of to do lists and schedule for December. I finished creating all of the worksheets, essay prompts, and projects for semester 1 of my personal curriculum. This semester I'm learning all about editing and the editing process. I'm going through the basics and then watching some other authors and editors to see what their tips are, then I have a practice project to do and then the final is editing my novel Cinder and Ash, but that will be at the beginning of January since I am finishing the book now.
That's another thing I made today, word trackers and goal trackers for December. I also figured out a little schedule so that I can get all of the projects done that I want to complete in this month. I know I can do it, it's all stuff I actually want to do and enjoy creating all of the worksheets and stuff. It felt like I was a teacher but I'm also the student lol. I think I came up with some good questions for the worksheets and essays and I really look forwards to starting my studying tomorrow. I'm only doing 30 minutes a day of research because I think that will not burn me out ya know?
I can't wait to jump back in to all of my stuff tomorrow. I've been doing so much planning and making pages and planning projects and all this stuff to do during the month. It's really fun lol
Now hopefully it's just as much fun completing the curriculum and other projects during the month lol
