Happy first day of December y'all! Today has been a very productive day for me.
I woke up at the stroke of 8am and couldn't go back to sleep, so I cleaned the kitchen and took out all of the garbage because we forgot to do it last night.
I talked to my sister to talk about making plans for our Christmas get together. Apparently my youngest niece is counting down the days until christmas eve because she has decided that's the day we are hanging out lol. She's so funny and adorable. I called my optometrist because I thought I had an appointment this week but they canceled it like idiots. Stupid bullshit. Now I have to call them back tomorrow to see if there are any available appointments before January. Doctor bullshit is so fun.
Then I finished creating all of the text files for my 30 day goal planner! Which is so freaking awesome because I was really stuck on creating those for a while. But I used my post it notes to plan which page was going to go where and then I realized that I didn't need some of the pages and that I needed to move pages to other parts of the book. It ended up being 30 pages which I thought was funny and I think it has everything that is needed to plan, breakdown, and accomplish a goal in 30 days time. I made it a customizable 30 day time frame so it isn't like based on any specific month and can be used for any time.
Now I have to import the files into procreate and do all of the artwork for the booklet, then I'll be ready to put it on etsy! And after that I can start on the other workbook I have in mind to make. It's so much fun making these things and I hope that I can get a little bit of money from this endeavor too. Like it's not my main goal for making them but it would really be nice. How much should I charge for that kind of booklet? My first thought was $10, is that too little? I mean it's not like it was that much work or anything... maybe I could do $15? I'll ask Phil tomorrow and see what he thinks. it's 30 pages but it's going to be a digital file so that's why I was thinking $10.
I wrote like 1400ish word today which was a bit hard but I was happy to get that many words done. I'm about to get to a little like training montage of Ariella before the time jump and it's fun writing her getting her power. I also successfully did my first day of my curriculum! I studied the basics of editing and the different editing types for over an hour which I thought I would get bored after thirty minutes so I was really happy with the results! I hated taking notes in school but I found taking notes today to be super fun and helpful, this way I'm going to have a whole book of editing tips, tricks, and process help, things to keep in mind, etc. to reference back when I'm going through the editing process. It has already made me feel MUCH more confident in the process, and it's only day one lmao.
The last things I want to do today is create a few Q1-26 pages. Did I mention that's what I'm calling my new schedule/goal calendar? I'm sure I have, I just have the memory of a goldfish sometimes lol and I'm excited about all of this stuff so I just keep repeating it hahaha.
Tomorrow is a sad day for me, it is my late cousin's birthday, which is exactly six months away from my birthday and was always a joke that we would make as a family. I miss him so much even though it has been almost eight years since he's been gone. But I have to do some errands to help others so yay... It was literally the only thing I asked for is to not need to do anything this day but whatever...
Alright I bummed myself out, I'm gonna go get some more stuff done before I go to bed.
