It's going to be a short blog today because I am TIRED. Still haven't been getting good sleep, or really any sleep and I had a weird thing happen with my jaw last night where it was so painful I considered going to the ER. Almost had to cancel our family day but it has chilled out thankfully.
Today was an absolute blast hanging out with my sister, nieces and nephew, brother in law and mother. We exchanged gifts and had pizza for dinner. We brought the dogs up too and that was really fun. Overall it was a really great day.
Now I NEED to try and get some decent sleep tonight or I am going to lose my shit.
I didn't write, or do any editing, or even do my morning pages this morning but it doesn't matter. I'm allowed this day off to celebrate family togetherness and it was so needed and great fun. The drive always kinda sucks because of traffic and I am just so anxious in the car. I've been a passenger in the car that has been involved in some not so great car accidents and I was also hit while driving so being in the car is always a bit of a panic inducer for me. And this time was no different. It really didn't help that we kept having assholes who were cutting us off while we were going like 5-10mph above the speed limit. People can be such dicks sometimes.
Oh well, it's time for me to head to bed, or at least do my best to try to sleep.
