I got up at 9:30am which was nice for once. I also did a bunch of cleaning and got some other stuff done which was nice.
I wrote a bit which was great because I took like four days off in a row and that was starting to bum me out. Me and my kiddo built the robot from the robot kit we got for Yule. It took like no time to built which is funny because I thought it would easily take us an hour. It literally took like ten minutes lol.
Now we have to wait for the thing to charge which seems to be taking a long time. It's already been charging for an hour with no sign of being close.
I did a bit of editing of my old writing today. I did my first pass through and took notes all about the developmental side of things and found like 40 points to add or change things up. Then I pulled up a new document and have the two side by side and started writing. I'm not sure if it's better or worse so far but I'm going to keep pushing through and adding and subtracting until it is perfect.
It is currently 9am. I am tired but I haven't gone to bed yet because of the whole nap I took earlier from like 5-11pm. Should I sleep now? I wish I had coffee, I used to hate coffee, but I've had it a few times in the last couple of days and it really hit the spot and didn't make me violently ill. I don't have a coffee pot, but I have a tea kettle and I'm planning on getting some filters and some ground coffee. Then I can have a few cups when I need them.
I want to write more and edit more, OH and I still have to finish Phil's digital illustration of his character. I'm pretty close to being done with that. I need to finish coloring the base right and then add a very specific mask that his character wears.
Speaking of characters and stories, I've been dying to write my story Lavender Letters lately. Well, more like again because I keep getting this itch to write this one every couple of months. Since the whole story is written in letters and diary entries, I've thought about having different fonts for each POV. But then that makes me think I should create those fonts for each POV. Because I really enjoy making fonts and it would be fun to create them. I mean ALL of my stories are written using my original font which is my handwriting. I wish I could upload it into this website builder so that I could have all the font be in my handwriting, but there is only so much I can control.
I guess I don't fully know how many different POVs are going to be in this book, because it is not written like a normal book. There might be one or two letters or notes included in the book that are from one person but they aren't heard from directly again.
That was something I was going to figure out once I get deeper into writing the book. I think I will be creating another booklet that involves outlining a book. That way I have something to fill out when I need to work through the plot of my story.
Oh I posted my Personal Curriculum Template on Etsy today too. That is something I am proud of, creating curriculums and really learning skills. I hope that this will help other people learn too because that is a life long pursuit that most people do not continue because school made learning almost traumatic. This let's people take it all into their own hands. And as much effort you put into it, the more you get out of it.
Now I'm going to go back to writing Cinder and Ash for an hour or two before I maybe go to sleep.
