Today has been a greatly productive day!
We did a TON of cleaning and fixing up of the house today. I would say we did about 85% of everything that needed to get done, and that is amazing. There was a LOT that needed to be done and being able to to all of what we did today feels great. The lady is supposed to come tomorrow at 2:30 so that gives us the whole morning to finish up that little bit that's left.
I hope my body isn't too broken tomorrow so it won't be hell to finish it but that will depend on how I sleep tonight. Which is also a crap shoot because most of the time I sleep like shit. Lol well maybe tonight will be one of those good nights. Especially since it's cold tonight and I always sleep best when it's cold.
I have been able to write a bit of Cinder and Ash, and I finished up the yarn that I have for my crocheted blanket. I have more yarn coming tomorrow. Yay! I was only able to get 5 rows out of this last skein which is surprising to me because I got A LOT more out of the first skein which is the same size. But I guess the blanket is a bit bigger now so the rows take up a lot more yarn. Oh and I almost had a melt down because I ran out of yarn when I was doing a decorative scallop row. I ripped through my crochet bag and found a very similar yarn that was already crocheted into a piece of a sweater that I was trying to make but that piece had come out wrong and was scrap now. It was just enough to finish the rest of the row and it looks basically the same as the other stuff. I wonder how much I'm going to be able to get out of the new skein... Jeez I wonder if I should have ordered two or maybe even three skeins. Oh well, I can get more eventually and just keep working on it. I'm literally using it right now even though it isn't the biggest blanket. I guess it's throw blanket sized now. It's super comfy and it is SO pretty. I will take a picture of it when it's closer to being done and post it on one of my blogs.
I did so much cleaning, painting, vacuuming, and organizing today. There were so many random little scuffs and other weird things that needed to be painted and that felt great to get done. It really made things brighten up. I really hope that tomorrow goes well... I won't lie, I'm pretty nervous about it. But I also have hope, hope that they will be nice and that it will go really well and then we can start looking for our new house.
Now I think I'll go try to write more of Cinder and Ash and finish this awesome horror movie I'm watching with my hubby.
