Holy shit was it hot today!
It was so hot that it made my son's ac unit die. It started hissing and smoking and then it wouldn't stop hissing so we put it outside. I was going to do laundry and dishes and bake cookies today but it was way too hot to do that.
So, instead I wrote the rest of IBOS chapter 6 and edited a bit of it. I also painted the base of a new painting I'm doing which will be a mother's day gift for my mom. Which I'm glad that I actually got started because mother's day is now three days away.
I also worked a little in my studio, moved some stuff around and went through a few boxes. But it was too hot to stay out there for long. I didn't realize it was going to be so hot out there which kinda sucks because most of the year I'm not going to want to use it. Or maybe it will cool down once we get the other unit for the dining room. But we have to update the electrical box before we can do that because all the freaking breakers pop in that old ass box. We can't run the washing machine and the air fryer at the same time, or the air fryer and microwave at the same time. It's annoying.
I also did the floors when it got cooler out. That was the smartest idea that I had. But now it's late and I have a damned headache and I'm pretty sure I am supposed to go out tomorrow but I don't know if I'm up for it or not. I guess I'll see in the morning. I should try to get up on the earlier side because mom's going to be at my house at like 12:30 or so.
